♥Thanksgiving♥ Not An Immigrant's Holiday!

My Mother told me that Thanksgiving was an "American Holiday". She said; it was not an immigrants holiday. Her Parents didn't arrive in America until the 1900's and on my Father's side, about 1880, NYC. When she was a kid, they used to go trick or treating on Thanksgiving!

I wonder if immigrants nowadays, consider Thanksgiving a holiday?
